Click to read: My Sister’s Eyes: A Family Chronicle of Rescue and Loss During World War II including the tragic death of Joan’s sister Yvonne Krakowiak, a sweet little girl of four.

Yvonne’s Grave in 1942 when Igans and Hala Krakowiak left her there. And, in 2014 when I visited for the first time.
